Install Relay on your phone
Add Relay to your home screen so it opens like an app, and what happens when the connection drops.

In short
- iPhone: open Relay in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
- Android: tap Install on the Install Relay card in Settings, or use Chrome’s menu.
- Without a connection, ticks you make wait and are saved as soon as you’re back online.
Why install it
Installed, Relay opens from its own icon, full screen, without the browser’s address bar. It’s the same Relay: the same account, the same shifts, always up to date. There’s nothing to download from an app store and nothing to update.
iPhone
- Open Relay in Safari and sign in.
- In Settings, the Install Relay card (1) reminds you how: Share → Add to Home Screen.

- Close the card
- Tap Safari’s Share button: a square with an arrow pointing up. On newer iPhones it can sit behind the ⋯ button next to the address bar.
